🌱 EU Bioeconomy Strategy - Commission launches investment deployment group
The European Commission launched a call for interest to join the European Bioeconomy Investment Deployment Group, a new platform designed to mobilise coordinated public and private investment into Europe’s bio-based industries.
The group will bring together financial institutions, national promotional banks, investors and EU institutions to strengthen the pipeline of bankable bioeconomy projects and improve financing instruments such as blended finance and risk-sharing mechanisms.

🌍 LIFE Programme - €103 million invested in strategic climate and environment projects
The EU has announced more than €103 million in funding for seven long-term strategic LIFE projects addressing climate change, biodiversity and environmental protection across Europe.
The projects will run for several years and aim to mobilise additional public and private investment while improving ecosystems, climate resilience and sustainable competitiveness across EU regions.

🤝 PRIMA Programme - EU and Algeria conclude negotiations
The European Union and Algeria have concluded negotiations for Algeria’s participation in the PRIMA programme, a Horizon Europe-supported initiative addressing water management, sustainable agriculture and food systems in the Mediterranean region.
The agreement will strengthen regional research collaboration and support innovation tackling climate and food security challenges.
