⛏️ Horizon Europe - RAMP partnership strengthens critical raw materials
HaDEA has highlighted the RAMP partnership, a Horizon Europe initiative supporting Europe’s access to critical raw materials for the green and digital transition.
With a total budget of around €300 million, including a €90 million EU contribution, the partnership will support research and innovation across raw materials supply, processing, recycling and recovery.

♻️ LIFE Programme - Municipal waste separation and reuse
CINEA has highlighted how 17 LIFE projects are working to improve municipal waste separation, recycling and reuse across Europe.
The projects focus on separate collection, pay-as-you-throw systems, recycling quality and public awareness, helping cities and regions move closer to circular economy goals.

🛡️ Digital Strategy - EU Action Plan on Cybersecurity and AI
The European Commission has presented a new EU Action Plan on Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.
The plan aims to address the risks of advanced AI models being misused for cyberattacks, while also using AI to strengthen resilience, improve threat detection and support Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem.

🌾 European Commission - Livestock Strategy and Protein Plan adopted
The European Commission has adopted a new Livestock Strategy together with a Protein Plan to support a more resilient and self-sufficient European food system.
The initiatives focus on crisis preparedness, competitiveness, animal health and welfare, sustainable production and reduced import dependencies, helping strengthen Europe’s agricultural resilience.

🛰️ Galileo - Supporting search and rescue operations
DG DEFIS has showcased how Galileo, the EU’s satellite navigation system, supports search and rescue operations through highly accurate positioning services.
Galileo’s Search and Rescue Service helps emergency teams locate distress signals faster and more precisely, while its Return Link Service confirms to people in distress that their signal has been received.
